WINTER TRYOUTS - PORTLAND, OR
BASKETBALL TRYOUTS- Boys and girls ages 2nd-8th Grade.
Location: ROCKWOOD PREP ACADEMY, 740 SE 182ND AVE, PORTLAND, OR
We will be putting together teams based on age and skill level. Teams are not guaranteed and will be based on skill and quantity of athletes so INVITE your friends that you want to play with.
The cost of the tryout is $40 total per athlete and covers the all 4 days of tryouts. At checkout you will pay for the tryout ONLY. (Payment for the full season will be taken after team is determined.)
TRYOUT GRADES & TIMES:
OCT 15, 16, 22, 23
GRADE 2nd-4th: 5:30-6:30pm (Girls & Boys)
GRADE 5th-8th: 6:30-7:30pm (Girls & Boys)
PARENT MEETING: 6:30pm and 7:30pm Oct. 16th
2nd-6th Grade LEAGUE INFO:
PRACTICE begins November 4th - February 27 Tuesdays and Thursdays
GAMES begin January 17 - Every Saturday through March 1
Games will be in Portland metro at the same location. There will be a 3 game jamboree November 17 or December 8 TBD
COST is $399 for season (Jersey not included- $40 for Jersey)
TRYOUTS: Please make the first two days of tryouts if you can as registration for the league opens on the 17th and we want to get all of our teams into the league. You are welcome to come to all 4 tryout days.
PARENT MEETING: OCT 16th we have one parent meeting at 6:30pm for the 2nd - 4th grade and another parent meeting for the 5th- 8th grade at 7:30pm. If you can’t make it please communicate with me.
IMPORTANT: We will be assembling teams quickly. If your child wants to play if you cannot make tryouts dates please reach out to me personally.
**There will be AAU Team opportunities and If we have your child on the AAU club tournament team we will discuss investment individually. This cost will be a different investment than youth league.
**LEAGUE PAYMENTS WILL BE TAKEN AFTER TEAM IS CONFIRMED. Payments available with an extra fee.
